I love this book! I read the first one in the series and didn't think it was possible to top that one. This is really different. I'm going to read the first one again! Anyone who wants something fresh really should read Scarlett Rains stories.

Promises of the Heart by Scarlett Rains

I really enjoyed this book. It's a historic romance that is kind of unusual. There are a few substories running simultaneously that tie together really well. This drew me in and gave me a better feel for the era. I loved the bizarre Wyndham character. I could actually 'see' him as I read the story. All the characters were like that. If you're looking for a new, fresh, historic author. Try this one.
